Mondlicht

Moonlight
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
The Moonship sails on the sea of sky, And skirts the cloudlike strand. Over the shadows on Nipponland Glimmers her lamp on high. Deep in my mirror beams from her rove, Broken loose from the skysea's height. With majestic mien her light Threads the starry stream above.
From a Weingartner score.
