stava una Peri assediata dal dolore:
e sentendo la sorgente di vita,
che armoniosamente fa eco con la sua corrente,

che a tratti penetra attraverso le porte socchiuse,
prorompe in pianto, esclusa da quel posto,
considerando la sua stirpe colpevole.
