Die drei Schwestern

Zweie pflücken sich Rosen, jede Bewegung wechselt in neuer Anmut. Golden wallet ihr lockiges Haar, und gleich purpurnen Rosen glüh'n der Jugend Wangen. Drüben die Dritte, sie windet Girlanden. Scherze, Gelächter flattern und als Antwort manch Wörtchen von Liebe. Eine Herme scheint verstohlen den Schwestern zu lauschen, Abseits wo ein Lüftchen am Morgen leise umfächelt die schattenden Zweige über ihres Hauptes würd'gem Alter.
