Ardete pur, pegni d'amor, voi qui sarete scolpiti ognor. Io voglio ancor palpitante e beata inebbriarmi un'istante d'amor: e penso al ben della vita passata ed odo il suon della sua voce ancor. O care cifre, mia gioia, mia gloria, grata terrò nel cor di voi memoria. Quand'ei saprà sì crudel sagrifizio, di pianto il ciglio allor ci bagnerà, cifre d'amor, il destin reo si compia, non visti ardete via senza pietà.
