Mohnblumen
Language: German (Deutsch)

Mohnblumen sind die runden,
rotblutigen gesunden,
die sommersproßgebraunten,
die immer froh gelaunten,
kreuzbraven, kreuzfidelen,
tanznimmermüden Seelen;
die unter'm Lachen weinen
und nur geboren scheinen,
die Kornblumen zu necken,
und dennoch oft verstecken
die weichsten, besten Herzen,
im Schlinggewächs von Scherzen;
die man, weiß Gott, mit Küssen
ersticken würde müssen,
wär' man nicht immer bange,
umarmest du die Range,
sie springt ein voller Brander
aufflammend auseinander.

Roselles
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Les roselles són les flors rodones,
sanes, color vermell de sang,
pigalloses a l’estiu,
sempre de bon humor,
molt honestes, molt alegres,
que mai es cansen de dansar;
que ploren tot rient
i que semblen haver nascut només
per fer la guitza als blauets,
i que tanmateix sovint amaguen
els cors més tendres i més bons
de la befa de les plantes enfiladisses;
i que, sap Déu, amb petons
s’haurien d’ofegar,
si hom no tingués por
que al abraçar la xiqueta,
ella provoqui un gran foc
esmicolant-se en flames.
