Je ne vois pas à travers eux
De lumière du jour,

Le soleil rouge.

Dans l'obscurité humide
Dans le brouillard,
Il y a seulement la nuit,
Seulement du noir.

En ces moments
De mauvais temps,
On vit seul,
Le cœur froid.

Sur la poitrine d'une autre,
Il faut s'appuyer :
Le feu, pour l'âme,
Rougit grâce à la jeune fille !

Avec elle dans l'hiver,
Il fait chaud comme en été,
Dans le malheur,
La détresse, il n'y a pas de douleur.
