Recitativo: Nel dolce dell'oblio, benchè riposi, la mia Filli adorata veglia coi pensier suoi. E in quella quiete Amor non cessa mai, con varie forme, la sua pace turbar mentre elle dorme. Aria: Giacchè il sonno a lei dipinge la sembianza del suo bene, nella quiete nè pur finge d'abbracciar le sue catene Giacchè, etc. Recitativo: Così fida ella vive al cuor che adora, e nell'ombra respira la luce di quel sol per cui sospira. Aria: Ha l'inganno il suo diletto se i pensier mossi d'affetto, stiman ver ciò che non sanno. Ma se poi si risveglia a un tale errore il pensier ridica a noi: ha l'inganno il suo dolore. Ha l'inganno, etc.

Recitative Dans l'oubli doux de son sommeil, ma chère Phyllis veille, plongée dans ses pensées. Mais Amour, dieu jamais en repos, ne cesse pas - en plusieurs formes - de perturber son sommeil paisible. Aria Comme le sommeil lui évoque l'image de son bien-aimé, le repos ne lui procure que d'embrasser ses chaînes. Comme ...... Recitative Ainsi elle est fidèle à son bien-aimé, et, à l'ombre, elle respire la lumière du soleil pour qui elle soupire. Aria L' amour est trompeur : la raison, submergée d'affection, tient pour vrai dont on rêve. Mais à peine réveillée d'une telle erreur, la raison nous redit : le chagrin d'amour est trompeur.
