Die Glocken hört' ich tönen, Sah einen schwarzen Zug, Der einen müden Pilger Zur Ruhestätte trug. Den Sarg ließ man hernieder, Deckt ihn mit Erde zu -- Der findet in dem Grabe Die längst ersehnte Ruh.
