Ich hör' ein leises Klingen Wie flöten und Schalmei'n, Die winzigen Wichte singen, Die Würmchen und Käferlein. Und goldne Lichter zittern Durchleuchtend das grüne Laub, Es ist ein Flirren und Flittern Im blitzenden Sonnenstaub. Es funkelt in den Bäumen, Es fächelt so süß die Luft, O wunderselig Träumen In Schatten und Waldesduft!
