Der Abend graut, Herbstfeuer brennen. Über den Stoppeln geht der Rauch entzwei. Kaum ist mein Weg noch zu erkennen. Bald kommt die Nacht; ich muß mich trennen. Ein Käfer surrt an meinem Ohr vorbei. Vorbei.
