Der Schmerz ist ein Schmied,

Und schweißt sie mit schweren

Gut, gut schmiedet der Schmerz.

Kein Sturm zerstört,
Kein Frost zerfrißt,
Kein Rost zerreißt,
Was der Schmerz geschmiedet.
