Abend

Es blüht um mich des Abends Stille, es klingt noch fern ein letztes Lied, das von den weiten Gärten drüben im Abendwind herüberzieht. Das ist des Tages letztes Klingen, nun naht die nächtlich dunkle Ruh und deckt mit ihren Friedensschleiern still alle heiße Sehnsucht zu.
