Чайка, серая чайка с печальными криками носится Над холодной пучиной морской. И откуда примчалась? Зачем? Почему ее жалобы Так полны безграничной тоской? Бесконечная даль. Неприветное небо нахмурилось. Закурчавилась пена седая на гребне волны. Плачет северный ветер, и чайка рыдает, безумная, Бесприютная чайка из дальней страны.
